Job Description: The Digital Program Director is responsible for meeting digital audience goals and analysis of metrics and diagnostics to shape strategy. Will work with Programming, Marketing and Promotions to create and program brand-appropriate content to drive digital audience and user engagement. Find innovative ways to use our digital properties to grow terrestrial ratings. Manage a team of Digital Content Directors and Producers. Work with Program Directors to strategize the most effective use of on-air inventory to grow digital audience. Work with Clear Channel Radio Digital to ensure that local sites are in line with national digital priorities. This includes finding new ways to evolve the symbiotic relationship of using national assets to grow local audience and vice/versa. Work closely with Integrated Sales to find on-brand ways to monetize our digital audiences. Own digital marketing: marketing our stations through our own sites, ultimately overseeing social media programs and where available, working with Marketing Directors/Program Directors to place online advertising buys. Develop and execute social media strategy. Along with station Program Directors and Marketing Directors, develop and maintain a long-term editorial and promotional calendar for each station site. Identify content partnerships that could be beneficial to the brands and working through the right channels to pursue appropriate avenues.
Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience working in some form of content creation
- Experience working in radio programming and/or marketing a plus
- Strong management and people skills
- Must be an idea factory, always coming up with new ways to keep content fresh
- Strong knowledge of pop culture and current events
- Must be HIGHLY organized
- The ability to work quickly and shift gears on a dime to capitalize on traffic opportunities
- Must be a self Starter who excels at working independently
- Experience working with social media, if not professional than to a high degree in your personal life

Description:
- Manage the development and execution of station promotions, community affairs efforts and assist in the development of station event marketing opportunities
- Responsible for enhancing station image and visibility within the community that will attract listeners and clients
- Act as liaison between programming, and sales to develop overall station campaigns, themes and marketing approaches
- Develop revenue-generating promotions that cross promote clients and third parties
- Act as a leader within the department, interfacing with promotion personnel
- Provide creative influence that creates visibility and publicity within the market, which will create buzz and talk about the station
- Implement grass roots marketing efforts at the local level
Some Specific responsibilities and functions include:
- Supervises station contests and on-air implementation
- Day to day management within the promotions department including policies, procedures, staffing
- Represent stations at community events
- Act as community liaison with community corporate entities
- Coordinate activities of other departments involved in production of promotions and remotes, attend remotes as needed
- Work with vendors in ordering promotional material

- Liaison daily between sales and programming departments
- Provide technical assistance for on-site remotes/appearances
- Attend and conduct weekly sales/promotions and programming meetings
- Collaborate with retail outlets, promoters, and community organizations
- Meet day to day deadlines
Position Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in promotions, marketing, radio or related industry.
- Sports radio/broadcast experience a plus
- Proven understanding of digital marketing-promotion and utilization of social networking
- Strong organizational, oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail
- Candidates must also have valid driver’s license.
