The people at Tempur-Pedic have released a bunch of new stats about how Americans sleep. They SAY they got them through a survey, but I suspect they've been breaking into our houses and watching us. Who can prove which is true?
Anyway, here's what they found . . .
57% of people sleep on their side, which makes it the most common sleep position BY FAR. 17% sleep on their back and 11% sleep on their stomach. Most of the other 15%
say they switch it up.
The average person changes sleep positions about 12 times in a night. But all of us shift anywhere from three to 36 TIMES over the course of a night.
The younger you are, the more likely you are to switch positions in the middle of the night.
The average man sleeps with two pillows on the bed. The average woman sleeps with four.
