Position Overview

• Located in San Antonio, TX - the Market Financial Analyst will assist the Finance Manager with financial operations specific to Clear Channel’s San Antonio Market.   The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, critical reasoning, problem solving skills and will be able to adapt to challenging fast pace environment.

 Role Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting the Finance Manager with all general ledger activities to include
• Oversee processing all AP/AR field transactions and assist with credit collection market activities
• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting financial data as necessary
• Coordinate with Shared Services Center to bring any financial discrepancies to complete resolution  
• Responsible for reviewing and approving Sales Orders and generating all weekly/monthly market invoicing
• Analyze all aging activities and work with AE’s on proper applications of unapplied  cash receipts
• Assist in preparing and/or reconciling various management reports as requested by the Finance Manager

 Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
• Ideal candidate will have some Accounting/Finance experience, preferably in an operational setting, but strong entry level candidates will be considered
• Proficiency with use of Excel, Word & Access applications
• Ability to prioritize workload, manage time and meet deadlines
• Ability to work under deadline pressure
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule when required
• Ability to communicate effectively with management
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft systems highly desirable.
